Glad your blog is up and running. For some reason the picture didn't show up above your labelling... And add a short function for each organelle. Great start!
Oh, sorry about that Ms. Phillips but it is the same picture you provided us. I will attach the link at the end and here are the functions of each organelle 1.) Nucleolus : It produces ribosomes and contains nuclear pores 2.) Nucleus: Stores genetic information and controls cell division and directs functioning of cell 3.)Ribosomes : Are the site of protein synthesis, it reads RNA code, translates into amino acid sequence 4.) Cell membrane :Provides protection, cell recognition and receptor proteins and imports and exports 5.) RoughER :Network of tubules 6.) Golgi body :Modification of protein and lipids and storage of packing of molecules 7.) Cytoskeleton : maintains cell shape and transports within the cell 8.) SmoothER : Package protein for transportaion within cell, synthesis of membrane phospholides, lipids, triglycerides, steroids and also deloxify drugs in liver cells 9.) Mitochondria : Are the cells power producers, they convert energy into forms that are usable by the cell. 10.) Vacuole : Exports unwanted substances from the cell 11.) Cytoplasm :Holds the cell organelles togather 12.) Lysosome :Garbage disposal and breaks down bacteria entering cell 13.) Centriole : Takes part in cell division
